On 14 February 2020 Ms. Lada Phumas, Director of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand met with His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Nazmul Quaunine, Ambassador of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. During the meeting, both sides discussed future possible cooperation, including participation of diplomats from Thailand and Bangladesh in short training courses organized by the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs and the Foreign Service Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh. Such cooperation could also involve a joint academic activity to promote better understanding of the Thai-Bangladeshi relations.
