On 24 February 2020, the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs launched a training course on accounting management for diplomatic and consular missions for officials preparing for overseas postings, pursuant to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’s rules and regulations.

          This 10-day workshop runs from 24 February 2020 untill 6 March 2020. The objective of the workshop is to enhance accountancy knowledge and skills among the participants in order to prepare them for duties at the Thai diplomatic and consular missions abroad.

          Mrs. Priabthip Krishnamra, Minister Counsellor of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs, welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of the strict rules and regulations for financial and fiscal works as these jobs require accuracy, timeliness, speed and transparency. The participants are viewed as a steering force for the Thai diplomatic and consular missions abroad.
