The Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA) has launched the “DVIFA Knowledge Sharing” initiative to enhance knowledge and skills among officials and personnel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This initiative aims to cultivate a mindset of continuous self-improvement through lifelong learning and contribute to developing the Ministry into a learning organisation.

On 23 September 2024, DVIFA hosted a special talk featuring the 13 Kasemsamosorn Scholarship recipients who participated in the English Workshop for Home-Based Officials 2024. The speakers shared their experiences and key takeaways from the workshop.

The event was presided over by Mrs. Tongrudee Makboon, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, who delivered a keynote address and attended the lecture alongside 45 home-based officials. In her remarks, the Deputy Permanent Secretary emphasised the vital role of Home-Based Officials in ensuring the Ministry's smooth operations, highlighting their expertise and continuity in service. She also reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to career development and capacity building for home-based officials.

The English Workshop for Home-Based Officials 2024 was held at the Regional Language Centre (RELC) in Singapore from 2 to 6 September 2024. The workshop aimed to enhance participants’ English language skills, knowledge, and confidence to perform their duties effectively.
