On 31 January 2024, Ms. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Director of Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), welcomed His Excellency Dr. Cheol-hee Park, Chancellor of the Korea National Diplomatic Academy (KNDA) and his delegation to the DVIFA during their visit to Thailand.

          On this occasion, Director Thitiporn and Chancellor Park exchanged views on how to develop the training for governmental officials in the field of foreign affairs, as well as to strengthen the academic network between the two countries. Additionally, both sides agreed to enhance the academic cooperation through conducting academic seminars and related activities which aim to promote the understanding and exchanges of views on various issues of international affairs. The activites will be held under the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Academic Exchange and Cooperation between the DVIFA and KNDA.

          The meeting was the first official meeting between the two institutes since the signing of the MOU on 3 November 2023.
