On 15 June 2026, Mr. Chuchart Jirojkul, Director of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony of the Intensive Language Course (ILC) 2026, welcoming 25 participants from 25 government agencies. He expressed his sincere appreciation to the sending organizations for recognizing the importance of staff development by equipping their personnel in the field of English communication at work and for supporting the attendance of staff at this six-week training programme. The knowledge and skills acquired will not only improve participants’ daily work performance but also enhance both the organizations’ operational efficiency and staff members’ long-term professional expertise in their respective fields. He also encouraged participants to network and build connections for future beneficial collaboration.

               The course runs from 15 June to 24 July 2026 (weekdays), with participants engaging in a variety of activities to improve their English language and public speaking skills. Activities cover listening and reading strategies, public speaking, and presentations. The programme also includes off-site study visits and various group activities to enhance English proficiency for government officers, enabling them to apply their language skills effectively and confidently in the fulfilment of their everyday duties.
