On 26 September 2022, Mrs.Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Director of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA) welcomed Lao diplomats of the training course on Knowledge of Diplomacy for participants from Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR.). The KOD training course is organized by the DVIFA, in cooperation with Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) under the development cooperation plan in the field of human resource development and to commemorate the 70^th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Thailand and Lao PDR.

               At the opening ceremony of the training course, Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, Deputy Director-General of TICA, delivered the opening remarks and reported on cooperation projects between Thailand and Lao PDR. Then, Mrs. Chirasawadi delivered a welcoming remarks and introduced the institute to the participants. The course was held during26 September - 1 October 2022 to provide knowledge about Thailand’s diplomacy, bilateral relations between Thailand and Lao PDR, Thailand’s role in the regional and sub-regional cooperation, as well as to promote international partnership and cooperation to achieve Sustainable Development Goals.

               During the course, the participants visited related public and private agencies in the cooperation between Thailand and Lao PDR as well as in sustainable development such as Geo-Informatics and Space Technology Development Agency (GISTDA), Laem Chabang Deep Sea Port, Siam Cement Public Company Limited, and Amata City Conburi Industrial Estate
