From 26 - 30 October 2020, the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs launched the 2^nd Overseas Posting Intensive English Programme for the Year 2020.  The objectives of the course were: to review and enhance their English communication skills prior to taking up their overseas postings so that they can function more effectively and confidently both in their duties and everyday life.

                   The training course focused on practical activities giving the participants opportunities to practice through simulations which were relevant to what they will encounter overseas. For example, networking, talking about Thailand, handling emergency situations, shopping, dealing with financial matters, taking public transport and coordinating with local staff.

                   This course was a part of the 2^nd Training Course to Prepare Secretaries, Counsellors and their Spouses for Overseas Postings for the Year 2020.
