Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, by the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs and the Personnel Management Bureau, has implemented MFA Internship Program 2025 between 9 June to 31 July 2025.

               The program also includes a 5-day training course designed to enhance interns’ understanding of the Ministry’s core missions, foster a positive attitude and inspire them to become future advocates and supporters of the Ministry’s efforts as “Friends of MFA”.

               On 9 June 2025, Mr. Chuchart Jirojkul, Minister Counsellor, representing the Director of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony of the training course held at Narathip Hall. Mr. Jirojkul welcomed the 96 interns and emphasized the value and benefits of engaging in the training course activities.

               The training course features special lectures by representatives from various departments within the Ministry, a study visit to UNESCAP on Ratchadamnoen Avenue, and group activities presenting internship experiences, which will take place on the final day of the program.

               Following the opening, Ms. Wanitta Kaewkeo, Senior Human Resources Officer from the Personnel Management Bureau, delivered an orientation session on the Ministry’s overall structure, core missions and internship guidelines and precautions. 

               The orientation was followed by a special talk titled “From Phi Su Nong: Working Experience at the Ministry”, presented by Ms. Natchayavalai Limjitti, Attaché from the Department of International Organisations, and Mr. Vitit Jankaew, Attaché from the Department of European Affairs. They shared their firsthand experiences in both bilateral and multilateral diplomacy. They also provided practical advice on personal development and adaptation as well as guidance for those aspiring to pursue a diplomatic career.

               The session concluded with an engaging Q&A segment in which the interns actively participated and exchanged questions and ideas.
