From 18 - 22 May 2020, the Devawong Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs launched the Overseas Posting Intensive English Programme for 2020.  The objectives of the course are: to review, prepare and develop their English communication skills and to enhance their communication skills prior to their overseas posting in order to better able them to perform their duties more effectively, and also use English in their daily life.

                   The training course focuses on practical activities giving the participants opportunities to practice English in simulated situations which are relevant to what they will encounter overseas such as networking, talking about Thailand, telephoning at workplace, coordinating with financial departments and local vendors, taking public transport, and more. The participants efforts during the course reflected that they will be able to apply the knowledge gained during this course to enhance their skills and confidence while using English while they are posted overseas.

                   This course is a part of the 1st Training Course to Prepare Secretaries, Counselors and their Spouses for Overseas Postings for the Year 2020.
