To commemorate of the 150th Anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA) conducted its second “Devawongse Roadshow” English language training on 6 March 2025 at the Mekong Institute (MI), Khon Kaen University.

               The training brought together 60 civil servants from various government agencies in Khon Kaen. Participants were divided into two groups – morning and afternoon sessions – where they learned practical techniques to improve their English skills through interactive simulations designed to build confidence in real-life communication.

               This programme is part of the DVIFA’s wider initiative to enhance the English proficiency of public officials in key provinces across Thailand. A previous training programme was held in Chiang Mai. Through consistent and ongoing practice, government officials are encouraged to improve their English for use in official duties and international engagement.
