The Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs places a strong emphasis on enhancing English language skills for public sector personnel. The Oral Communication Course (OCC) is specifically designed to improve English communication skills for government officials, focusing on public speaking, presenting, and expressing opinions in international meetings confidently, effectively.

               OCC 2025 runs from March 4 to 31, 2025 and includes 26 participants from various government agencies. The training consists of classroom sessions, study visits, and practical workshops to promote the implementation of communication skills and knowledge learned through group activities and simulated meeting scenarios.

               On March 4, 2025, Dr. Narat Vidyananda, Minister Counsellor and Representative of the Director of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA) presided over the opening ceremony of the OCC 2025. He welcomed participants from various government agencies and expressed his pleasure that some of the attendees had previously participated in the Intensive Language Course and were now advancing their knowledge and skills in English communication for more challenging situations. Dr. Vidyananda also emphasised the importance of developing English language skills, especially in presenting accurate information in the appropriate context regarding time, location, and audience, as well as clear communication aligned with objectives. He expressed his hope that participants would use the knowledge gained to improve themselves and build future networking relationships.
