On 23 August 2024, Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, director of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA) participated in the Retreat of Diplomatic Academies in Southeast Asia held in Manila. The Retreat was hosted by the Foreign Service Institute of the Philippines and attended by ten representatives from members countries of ASEAN.

               The Retreat provided an opportunity for the exchange of information about diplomatic training in each country and their best practices. The meeting also discussed the ways to further strengthen the diplomatic training cooperation in the future to build the capacity of the diplomats in the region to address the changes in the global arena as well as to achieve the objectives of ASEAN.
