On Wednesday 25th January 2023, Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, the Director of Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), presided over the Closing Ceremony of the Overseas Posting English Programme 2023 at the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs Government Complex, Building B. The course objectives was to enhance the English communication competencies of support staff from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; in preparation for their future overseas posting. Accordingly, the course was designed to correspond to the mission, social conditions, and everyday lives of the participants while abroad. The training programme consisted of 138 hours of instruction, delivered one to two days per week from 3 October 2022 to 25 January 2023 inclusive via self-directed learning.

               During the closing ceremony, the Director praised the participants for their active engagement in the course and their dedication to improving their English skills. Moreover, the Director emphasized the importance of life-long learning and encouraged the participants to continue to practice and enhance their English proficiency through various platforms. She expressed her hope that the knowledge and experience gained during the course would be put into practice, leading to more efficient and effective work for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

               The Director also encouraged the participants to be perceptive in their use of English in both their professional and personal lives, and to continue to improve their English skills in order to perform their duties to the best of their ability. Then Ms. Thitiporn expressed her congratulations to all of the participants who successfully completed the programme and wished them great professional success.
