On 24 March 2021, Ms. Wiraka Moodhitaporn, Director of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, attended a visual meeting of the International Forum on Diplomatic Training (IFDT) steering committee, which brought together executives of diplomatic training establishments of Austria, India, the UAE, the USA, DiploFoundation, Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), and Centre for Political and Diplomatic Studies (CPDS). The main objective of the meeting was to discuss the preparation of the 47^th Annual Meeting of Deans and Directors of Diplomatic Academy and Institutes of International Relations (known as International Forum on Diplomatic Training: IFDT), to be hosted by Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA) of the UAE later this year. During the meeting, members of the IFDT steering committee also exchanged views on possible agenda for the 47^th IFDT meeting, including multilateral diplomacy, roles of small states’ diplomacy in global geopolitics, and renewable energy.
