On 10 March 2022, Mrs. Thitiporn Chirasawadi, Director of the Devawongse Varopakarn Institute of Foreign Affairs (DVIFA), held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Sándor Sipos, Ambassador of the Embassy of Hungary to Thailand. During the meeting, each side introduced and exchanged information about their diplomatic institutes, diplomatic training courses, and their research units on policies, diplomatic issues and international affairs.

During the meeting, H.E. Mr. Sipos expressed the desire to have a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between both sides. The MOU, which will be mutually beneficial, would be a tool for implementing activities under the cooperation framework and strengthen relations between Asia and Europe.

On this occasion, Mrs. Thitiporn invited the Hungarian side to participate in several activities that the DVIFA will organize, such as the Knowledge of Diplomacy (KOD) course to be held in August 2022 in an online format, and the International Forum on Diplomatic Training (IFDT), the 49th Annual Meeting of Deans and Directors of Diplomatic Academies and Institutes of International Relations, which will be held in Bangkok in 2023.
